About
I am a research engineer, photography dabbler, sometimes runner/cyclist/swimmer, University of Michigan sports fan, Presbyterian, dad, and want-to-be reader of more books than I have time for. You can find links to several of my web presences in the icons on this site.
I work at Georgia Tech Research Institute on multi-target tracking and radar signal processing. I earned master's and doctorate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, with my research under advisor Jim McClellan. Prior to this I studied electrical engineering at Calvin College and was a four-year member and captain of the swim team. I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I attended Grand Rapids Christian High and earned the rank of Eagle in Boy Scout Troop 342 (LaGrave Ave. CRC).
